I am Parlan Blackstone. 65 necro with 220 or so AAs.

I have lots of Alts.

Fjorn 65 BST
Shomarr 65 Druid
Avner 64 Bard
Palron 64 Mage
Choj 61 Monk.

My play time is limited right now... but expect to see things get better.

oh yah... started playing live game on opening day in 1999. Played for 7 years and quit, then tried again when they did the progression server fiasco.

Started playing SOD in Sep of 2009. Like it a lot. This is what live game should have been.

I agree that the game should have been more like this....but from another who also played live when it was the thing to do lol....I say that in a wierd sentimental way, I am somewhat saddened to see the game now. Dont misunderstand--I love the game. But in the olden days, one could find a pickup group in just about any zone. The old Karanas (now the badlands) teemed with life, as did the "commons" which I think are now Plaguelands.

As someone who loves to play a Barbarian character as well, its somewhat sad to see no one hunting in Everfrost anymore (unless they camp ice giants). Use to be I would get warm fuzzies from running to my home of Halas for alchemy supplies only to find several low level Barbarian younglings in need of help via spells or my involvement to save them in their battles with the low level bestiary. Now though, so much effort is put into "level fast, twink up and repeat"....nothing wrong with that, but there is another side of that coin that has in a big way faded I think. I miss that side sometimes.

/shout SG to docks!

Ah the old Oasis of Marr.....
